younger evangellatin?
I have very little to write about today. My friend Yohannen sang the entire "Copa Cabana" song tonight at house dinner. It is the first time I have ever really heard it. It reminded me of "Fee" by Phish. Same story, different words and tune and a buddhist prodigy.
I am going again on Friday night to see the Psalters. I am really excited about seeing them again. I do not necessarily believe in EVERYTHING they do or say, but I think their premise is somewhat correct.... Americans tend to be greedy and selfish and much of the rest of the world suffers. For instance... right now in Sudan, over 400,000 people have been killed. Maybe its time we stepped in and did something there... I know where we could find a few troops. Anyway, the Psalters challenge popular culture and the Americanized Christianity that says baseball and apple pie, prosperity and patriotism (democrat or republican) are Christian values. This is challenging to think about, to question.
peace and belief systems can withstand question marks.
