Feeling Old...er

So today I had lunch with a few other "college pastors". It was fun, to, ya know, hang out with the boys and eat pizza. It was fun. There is this cool place in dt Naperville known as "the Union" for students to hang out, regardless of college and plug into a local church community. The great thing is that its a group of churches working together to get the students involved... Bigger picture here. Big "C" church. SO great. The first event is Sept. 8.

What made me feel old...er? Well one of the guys asked if any of us had considered using the internet, i.e. myspace or facebook as a means of ministry. So, I checked out myspace (yes, I now have an account). It is geared toward college students to some extent. But it dawned on me that I was in my second or third year of college before I ever got on line. I was in my FOURTH year before I got my own email address. Now its second nature. Who needs a regular address when most anything can be sent via email. So wierd. So old.

To simpler days.

Kerma, I am very curious to know what you think about myspace. I have heard that many people who work with youth/college get these accounts. I just found out today that you could be connected with people you went to highschool and college with. That sounds really interesting and maybe why I would do it.
