IS THERE SOMETHING IN MY TEETH?

So I recently acquired a new job... that would be the fifth. This one, contrary to my profile is going somewhere and I am excited about it. However... this is how the "interview" went...

First of all, I was running way early. I was to meet the "ELDER TEAM"- ominous sounding, huh?- at 730. At 710 I was nearly there. So I stopped briefly at the bank. Then I went to the house where I am sure I was told it was to take place... nothing. There was noone there. So I called and found out it was at another house, but at least in the same neighborhood. When I walked in... Everyone looked at me. Than I sat and everyone looked at me. Than I answered questions and everyone was still looking at me. I understand of course that it was an interview as informal as it was. But perhaps it is that I am so used to being with this group of people in very social situations that it was wierd to be the object of their attention. They asked "interview-ish" type questions... how much time will I spend, my strengths or weaknesses, what would I love to do if money were never an issue - hardest among the questions.

I stumbled over words. I used words that I do not usually use. I think I said "automobile" instead of "car" - WHO DOES THAT? Anyway, the whole time, I felt like I had something in my teeth the way they were looking at me. As it is, it turned out well. I have the job - I will be leading college ministries at my church - these people take care of me.

Church is a good thing
